The House State Government and Tribal Affairs Committee considers issues relating to the processes of government, including state agency rule-making, state government reorganization, election laws, public disclosure, campaign reform, ethics laws, various public employee laws, and certain state agencies and the offices of elected state officials that are not under the purview of another committee. The committee also considers issues relating to veterans and the government-to-government relationship of the state and Indian tribes.
