Teacher Judi Orr, Assistant Teacher Matthew Kreiling,
The Teachers
L
egislative Page School Teacher Judi Orr is a retired social studies and English teacher, who taught for over 30 years in the Clover Park School District. A graduate of Washington State University, she is a proud Cougar, in spite of the recent football team win-loss record…but, hey, what about that Apple Cup! Judi has two daughters, one who is teaching kindergarten at Surefoot American International School in Calabar, Nigeria, and another who is teaching middle school drama in Fairfax County, Virginia. “Teaching is in our blood!”
A
ssistant Teacher Matthew Kreiling has been involved with the Washington State Legislature since he was an intern in 2007. After graduating with a degree in Political Philosophy from Evergreen State College, where he worked as a writing tutor, Matt was hired by the Washington Student Lobby, a statewide association of public college students. There, he lobbied and organized to help make a college degree accessible to any hard working Washingtonian. He loves teaching, learning, reading, writing, gardening, sailing, and the internet, not necessarily in that order.
